Don't you love it when you think you'll have time for everything, only to find out that you don't! This week has been great! I've met all 20 of my kiddos, which I just found out a few minutes ago, is now 19 (one is moving back home with grandma in another district).
My lovelies are a very eclectic group. We've got a lot of smarties and a lot of sweeties, but we also have some attitudes and a little lalaland's in the mix.
I have been coming home everyday and instead of blogging about my day or putting up some great activities, what have I been doing?
Crashing on the couch or in the bed and sleeping until 7 or 8.
Get up and eat a little something then RIGHT back to bed.
I am exhausted!
I'm only on here today because I had a doctor's appointment and have been out 1/2 a day. I got home a little earlier and found a few minutes before going to dinner at the in-laws.
Tomorrow I have no children. Tomorrow is our Kindergarten PLC day where we get together and make sure everyone is where they belong and see if any switches need to be made. We also go over next weeks agenda and get our copy folder together for the following week.
It will also be time for me to finally take my classroom pictures and get them edited for you to see what's going on in my room =) I know you've just been dying to find out and I keep making you wait and wait and wait and wait and..well you get the idea!
I'll also take pictures of the few activities that we did during the day this week. There weren't many. Our kiddos come in 30 minutes after school starts, then we take them on a tour which lasts about an hour-ish. We come back for a story, snack then off to music or art for almost an hour. Then back to the room for activity #1 and a B2S video (while I finish unpacking supplies). Next up comes lunch, then outside or inside center time, depending on the heat. Then we're back inside for our last project and nap time, while I pack up.
Okay - enough from me and my ramblings tonight. Have a great night and I'll be back and will try my best to get on a blogging schedule at some point this new school year!
