We started back to school this week and I had a presentation Monday, registration Tuesday, presentation Wednesday followed by new curriculum meeting on that afternoon, more meetings on Thursday and county wide address on Friday morning.
It may not sound like a lot, but try to throw in some time trying to get my room done (which I didn't), trying to get numbers even in our grade and helping teachers with new PBIS stuff and YIPES! I am wiped!
The kids come Monday - luckily, we stagger in kindergarten here - and my classroom is not as ready as it usually is on the first day, but it will be okay right?!
It always is. Nevermind the fact that I am starting Daily 5 this year and trying to learn how to incorporate my Smartboard and working on the PBIS team to get ready to incorporate this on Monday when our paws and trackers and posters are not even ready!!
Little freak out moment - sorry!
I told myself yesterday, when I had time to work in my room but refused to, that this is my job, not my life. My life is my husband, my family, my home, myself. Less Stress is what I'm striving for this year. Let's see how it goes.

You sound sooo busy! Too busy! I love what you said about this being a job and not our lives. I think I am at school more than I am home! This year I am going to try to do better with that. Your classroom will get done, it always does and the kids will love it! :)
