Here's a little Q and A from Erica.
What
is your teaching "style"?
I am told by most everyone that I think out
of the box with my teaching. I try to create projects and lessons that
make kiddos want to keep learning about the topic. I love allowing kids
to make huge messes and provide tons of exporation.
What is your most memorable teaching moment?
I was recently named the District Teacher of the Year for 2011 in my
district - Pflugerville ISD. I definitely don't feel as though I
deservethis honor, but I am truly blessed to have received it.
Why
do you blog?
It helps me reflect on my teaching and think of how to
make it better next time. Being a blog stalker helps me be a better
teacher, too.
